ISO Certification of Integrated Management System recommended to
Bahrain Prism Glass factory

On the 7th of March 2010, Bahrain Prism Glass Factory was CERTIFIED with Integrated Management Systems of EN ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. This achievement was indeed the tremendous effort and dedication from the entire Steering Committee, backed by the firm support of the Company’s General Manager, Mr. T. Mani .
EN ISO 9001:2008 gives the requirements for quality management systems and is established globally as the implemented standard for providing assurance to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships.
The key benefits of ISO certification will guide the entire Company to understand and be motivated towards the organization's goals and objectives. Activities are evaluated, aligned and implemented in a unified way. Miscommunication between levels of the organization will be minimized.
EN ISO 14001:2004 proves that the Environmental Management System has been measured against a best practice standard and found compliant.
BS ISO 18001:2007 promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows the organization to consistently identify and control its health and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance. Much of the improvement is attributed to employee education and awareness of safety issues and understanding.
